A tech blogger has revealed that Lenovo will continue to iterate on the Legion Y700 tablet and the Moto Razr series of foldable phones next year. Both products will be equipped with the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Ultra and the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 mobile platform. The Y700 tablet will have a 16:10 screen ratio, making it more suitable for gaming; the Moto Razr foldable phone will also have its aspect ratio adjusted.
According to CNMO, the Moto Razr 60 series previously ranked first in online sales of Android foldable phones in China during the third quarter. This series was released in May this year, with the standard version equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7400X processor; the Pro version with a Snapdragon 8s Gen3 mobile platform; and the Ultra version with a Snapdragon 8 Ultra mobile platform, priced from 3499 yuan. CNMO speculates that the new Moto Razr will continue the Razr 60 strategy, offering three different versions with different processors, with the Ultra version possibly featuring the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Ultra.
Meanwhile, some specifications of the new Lenovo Legion Y700 tablet have already been leaked. This tablet is expected to be powered by the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Ultra mobile platform, featuring an 8.8-inch 3K resolution LCD screen with a 165Hz refresh rate and a 16:10 aspect ratio. It will also have a large internal vapor chamber and a battery capacity of over 9000mAh.
For reference, the current Lenovo Legion Y700 tablet features a Snapdragon 8 Ultra, a total heat dissipation area of 41356mm², an 8.8-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 3040×1904, a 165Hz refresh rate, a global brightness of 600 nits, and a 7600mAh battery.
