Renowned tech blogger Digital Chat Station has revealed the latest information about the Huawei Mate 80 series, further unveiling the mystery surrounding this upcoming flagship. According to the leak, the standard and high-end models will both have a 6.75"±1.5K screen, while the high-end model will feature a larger 6.89"±1.5K screen, boasting improved screen specifications and a significant upgrade in imaging. The previously mentioned 50MP dual telephoto lens solution has been confirmed, and it's rumored to be called the Pro Max.
Based on the leak, the Huawei Mate 80 and Mate 80 Pro will maintain the same 6.75-inch screen size, while the Pro and higher models will have a 6.89-inch screen. If they continue with the widescreen trend, it will offer a better viewing experience and differentiation. Furthermore, the Pro and higher models may use a dual-layer OLED screen, the same one previously used by the renowned tech blogger, resulting in superior display quality. These screen size and configuration upgrades explain why Huawei might be renaming the Pro+ to Pro Max.
Regarding imaging, according to leaks, the Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max will feature a 50MP dual telephoto lens setup. Doesn't that sound like a nostalgic return to the Huawei Mate 40 Pro+? The leaks indicate that the dual telephoto sensors are natively 50MP + 50MP, one for mid-range and one for telephoto, both supporting RYYB. The main camera will remain a LOFIC 50MP 1/1.28" sensor, and the lens module will feature a classic design. Are you looking forward to this Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max?
