
Recently, a new Motorola phone with the model number XT2603-1 appeared in the Geekbench benchmark database and is widely believed to be the upcoming Moto X70 Ultra.
According to information disclosed by Geekbench, this new phone is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen5 mobile platform. Its CPU configuration includes two high-performance cores clocked at 3.65GHz and six efficiency cores clocked at 3.32GHz, and the GPU model is listed as Adreno 829. Although there were previous rumors that the chip would be equipped with an Adreno 840 graphics processor, the current test data is based on the Adreno 829 and may differ between engineering samples and the final version.
Meanwhile, the XT2603-1 runs Android 16 and is equipped with 16GB of RAM. In Geekbench 6 testing, it achieved a single-core score of 2634 and a multi-core score of 7475, performance consistent with its next-generation flagship positioning.
According to current leaks, the moto X70 Ultra will feature a 1.5K resolution OLED screen and a periscope telephoto lens in its imaging system, continuing Motorola's technological expertise in optical zoom within the Ultra series. Further detailed specifications are not yet available, but considering the phone has entered the performance testing phase, it is expected to be officially released in China before the end of 2025, while the global version, the Edge 70 Ultra, may debut in the first half of 2026.
