
On November 17th, an Intel processor with the model number Xeon 654 appeared in the Geekbench 6 database. The Xeon 654 is part of the unreleased Granite Rapids workstation product line and is expected to be officially launched in the coming months.

Previous information indicated that the Granite Rapids-WS will be divided into two product lines: the mainstream model supports quad-channel DDR5; the Expert series supports eight-channel memory; both offering 80 and 128 PCIe Gen5 lanes respectively.
The Xeon 654's main specifications include 18 cores and 36 threads, 72MB of L3 cache, and 36MB of L2 cache. The Geekbench database records its frequency as 4.60 GHz, but actual testing showed a frequency closer to 4.80 GHz. The test platform, equipped with 32GB of DDR5 memory and running Linux, achieved a single-core score of 2634 and a multi-core score of 14,743 on Geekbench. As this is an engineering sample, the results may differ from the final version.
Meanwhile, source @Momomo_US also released model information for several Granite Rapids workstations, including frequencies and cache sizes. The top-of-the-line model in this series is the Xeon 698X, featuring 86 cores and 336MB of cache.
