
Insider Digital Chat Station has released a new report on the Xiaomi Mi 17 Ultra flagship smartphone, explaining its differences from the Mi 17 Pro Max.
According to sources, the Mi 17 Ultra will retain the screen, speakers, vibration motor, processor, and fingerprint sensor of the Mi 17 Pro Max. The main innovation is expected to be a large, circular camera module similar to the Mi 15 Ultra.
Furthermore, a gold version is expected, featuring the "industry's largest" main camera sensor. Sources also revealed that the phone will support external lenses, similar to competing products.
The Ultra version of the smartphone is rumored to feature a 6.9-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2 processor, and a camera with the following specifications:
Main: 50 MP.
Ultra-wide: 50 MP.
Telephoto: 50 MP.
Telephoto Lens 2 (periscope): 200 MP (Samsung HPE, 4x4 RMSC technology for lossless scaling).
Front-facing camera: 50MP (OmniVision OV50M).
In addition, a Xiaomi phone version supporting satellite communication is also expected to be released. The release date and price of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra have not yet been announced.
