
Philips recently launched the Evnia 27M2N6501L monitor, featuring a QD-OLED panel and 2K resolution at 240Hz, specifically designed for users seeking high-quality gaming visuals. César Reyes Acosta, Chief Product Manager for Consumer Monitors at Philips, stated that with the new Philips Evnia 27M2N6501L, they aim to present a truly upgraded monitor – not only in terms of specifications but also in terms of user experience. The monitor is expected to be available in early December, with specific release dates and pricing in China pending further announcement.
The Evnia 27M2N6501L utilizes a 26.5-inch QD-OLED panel with a resolution of 2560×1440 and a 240Hz refresh rate, along with native 10-bit color depth, truly achieving a balance between image quality, smoothness, and color accuracy. The monitor boasts an SDR brightness of 200 nits and an HDR brightness of 400 nits, offering a typical contrast ratio of 1,500,000:1, a GtG response time of 0.03ms, and VESA ClearMR 13000 certification, delivering an exceptionally smooth visual experience. In terms of color gamut, the monitor covers 98% of the Adobe RGB and 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, with an sRGB color gamut volume of 147.5%.
Philips has also equipped the monitor with AI-enhanced Ambiglow and Evnia Precision Centre software. The former adjusts the color and brightness of the rear LED strip based on the displayed content, while the latter provides a wealth of adjustment options to tailor a unique display solution for each user. The monitor also supports gaming features such as Smart Crosshair, Stark ShadowBoost, and a Magnifier. In terms of interfaces, the 27M2N6501L is equipped with two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DP 1.4 port, and features an ergonomic stand that supports 130mm height adjustment, as well as rotation, tilt, and vertical rotation adjustment.
