On November 18th, Arm announced the integration of NVIDIA's NVLink Fusion high-speed interconnect into its Neoverse platform. Partners can fully integrate Arm-based high-performance computing capabilities into the NVLink Fusion ecosystem, achieving complete consistency and high bandwidth.
Specifically, NVIDIA NVLink Fusion will interface with the latest version of the AMBA CHI C2C protocol on the Arm Neoverse platform. This means that Neoverse-based SoCs can seamlessly transfer data between Arm CPUs and NVIDIA GPUs.
Arm CEO Rene Haas stated: "Arm and NVIDIA are working together to set a new standard for AI infrastructure. Extending the Arm Neoverse platform with NVIDIA NVLink Fusion brings Grace Blackwell-level performance to all Arm-based partners – a milestone that reflects our tremendous momentum in the data center space."
NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang stated: "NVLink Fusion is the connectivity architecture for the AI era, connecting every CPU, GPU, and accelerator into a unified rack-mount architecture. Together with Arm, we are extending this vision to the Neoverse platform, empowering innovators worldwide to design next-generation dedicated AI infrastructure."
