Chinese company Yuejiang Robotics has released the Rover X1 robot dog, which can be considered a fully functional home assistant. The manufacturer claims this model will be the world's first "intelligent home robot" of its kind.
The Rover X1 uses a camera system to observe and analyze its surroundings while operating. The company claims it is suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments.
Thanks to its wheeled design, the Rover X1 can easily handle flat surfaces and slight outdoor slopes. The robot dog's body is equipped with a platform for carrying items, but its carrying capacity has not yet been disclosed.
It can be used as a home assistant, security device, or outdoor companion. Detailed technical specifications for the Rover X1 have not yet been released, nor has a release date been announced.
It is reported that this robot will be priced at 7499 yuan in China, approximately US$1050.
