According to previous reports from IT citing Jukan, Samsung plans to hold a "Galaxy Unpacked" event on February 25, 2026, where it will launch three smartphones: the S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra. The entire event will focus on AI technology. Notably, this will be Samsung's first launch event in San Francisco since the Galaxy S23 series in 2023, a three-year hiatus.
South Korean media outlet Maeil Business Newspaper further revealed that Samsung has set a shipment target of 35 million units for the Galaxy S26 series, with 24 million units planned for shipment in the first half of 2026. In comparison, the Galaxy S25 series is projected to sell approximately 22 million units in the first half of 2025, demonstrating Samsung's optimistic expectations for the new series' market performance.
