According to a recent report by Business Insider, Meta has widely adopted Vibe Coding technology, enabling product managers to independently and quickly develop app prototypes and present their work directly to CEO Mark Zuckerberg without the assistance of engineers. Joseph Spisak, Product Director of Meta's Super Intelligence Lab, revealed that this method has significantly improved product iteration efficiency, with many product managers using natural language commands in conjunction with AI tools to complete their development work.
Vibe Coding, as an emerging technical term, essentially uses AI to translate natural language into executable code or product prototypes. IT Home points out that this technology was first proposed by the open-source community and has now been adopted by tech giants like Meta. Its biggest feature is that users do not need programming skills; they can generate complete interfaces or functional modules simply through descriptions.
This trend is not an isolated case in the tech industry. Google requires the integration of AI into the entire product development process, and CEO Sundar Pichai previously disclosed that over 25% of the company's code is generated by AI; Microsoft has even made AI use mandatory. With the penetration of AI tools into the development field, traditional workflows are being reshaped, and the product implementation capabilities of non-technical personnel are being revolutionaryly enhanced.
