
Motorola has released the X70 Air, the first smartphone in its new "ultra-thin" series. This phone is only 5.99mm thick and meets multiple protection standards. It also boasts an impressive battery capacity befitting its size, and a fast AMOLED display with an all-screen design.
The smartphone features a 6.7-inch display with a resolution of 2712 x 1220 pixels, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7, supporting a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 4500 cd/m². At the heart of the device is a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage.
The smartphone's battery life is provided by a 4800 mAh battery, supporting 68W wired TurboCharge and 15W wireless charging.
The smartphone's rear camera features two 50MP sensors: a main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an ultra-wide-angle camera with a 120-degree field of view. It supports video recording at up to 4K resolution and 30 frames per second. The front-facing camera is 50MP and can be used for selfies and video calls.
The Motorola X70 Air has IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings and is MIL-STD-810H military-grade certified. Other features include Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 6E, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, and Android 16.
The Motorola X70 Air is available in gray, light green, and dark green. In China, the 12GB/256GB version is priced at $365, and the 12GB/512GB version is priced at $407. The phone will officially launch in China on October 31st.
