Samsung seemingly unveiled all the specifications for the Galaxy XR headset at its launch event. However, shortly after the event, it was revealed that the company had held back on some details, revealing that the new product was even more powerful than expected.
We're talking about the additional USB-C port, located beneath an unassuming flap on the headset's right arm. It significantly expands the device's functionality: it can be used to connect to the internet or a webcam, as well as stream videos from portable game consoles.
For some reason, Samsung didn't mention this port in its specifications, despite its significant expansion of the device's capabilities. In contrast, Apple Vision Pro users need to purchase a separate $300 adapter and register as a developer to gain the same functionality.
