Huawei Terminal officially announced this morning that the Mate 80 series and the Mate X7 foldable flagship will be unveiled via an online launch event at 2:30 PM on November 25th. Several new all-scenario products will also be launched at the event, but the specific format has not yet been disclosed.
The Mate 80 series covers four models: the standard version features 3D face recognition for the first time, and offers four colors including Obsidian Black and three storage combinations; the Pro version adds a 16GB+1TB version, with the same color scheme as the standard version; the Pro Max features four high-end colors including Midnight Black, and comes standard with 16GB of RAM; the RS Master Edition exclusively features 20GB of RAM and offers three luxurious colors including Mystic Black. All models support an "Outdoor Exploration Mode" and 14-day extreme battery life, and new telephoto macro slow-motion shooting functions have been added to the imaging capabilities.
The Mate X7 foldable screen upgrades to the "Mystic Architecture," with the Collector's Edition equipped with second-generation Mystic Tempered Glass, supporting IP58/59 dust and water resistance. It offers five color options and four storage versions, with a maximum configuration of 20GB RAM + 1TB HDD. The imaging system features second-generation Red Maple technology, a rear-mounted 50MP variable aperture main camera + periscope lens, a triple-camera setup approaching the level of the Mate 80 Pro.
This product line showcases Huawei's continued breakthroughs in the high-end market, from the durability of its foldable screen to the comprehensive upgrades in imaging technology, all targeting the core needs of business professionals and tech enthusiasts.
