According to foreign media reports, Apple will update its entire entry-level product lineup, including iPhones, iPads, and Macs, in early 2026. Recent reports suggest these three products are likely the iPhone 17e, the 12th-generation iPad, and a MacBook powered by an A-series chip.
Previous rumors indicated that the new MacBook would use the same A18 Pro chip as the iPhone 16 Pro, and would be expected to feature a 13-inch screen, offering color options similar to the iPad, including silver, blue, pink, and yellow. However, due to cost controls, the product might use an older design or display component, 8GB of RAM, or even only one USB-C port.
The iPhone 17e, on the other hand, will use the A19 chip, an 18-megapixel central camera, and Apple's own C1 modem, with most other specifications remaining the same as the iPhone 16e. There are also rumors that the iPhone 17e might adopt an island design, replacing the current notch at the top of the screen.
The 12th generation iPad is not expected to have any design changes, but Apple will upgrade to the A18 chip, enabling all iPads to run Apple Intelligence.
Additionally, some analysts suggest that thanks to its strong purchasing power, Apple will be largely unaffected by the recent rise in DDR memory prices until 2026.
