OnePlus officially announced that the OnePlus 15, launching at 7:00 PM on October 27th, will feature a massive 7300mAh battery, designed for ultra-high-frame-rate gaming at 165fps. It will also feature 120W Super Flash Charge and 50W Wireless Flash Charge, the only mainstream flagship of the year.
According to the official announcement, the OnePlus 15 is the first to be powered by the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition mobile platform, featuring a 2+6 core architecture with two Prime cores clocked up to 4.6GHz. The new phone also supports the newly upgraded Tiangong Pro cooling system and Fengchi gaming core technology.
In terms of screen, the OnePlus 15 features a 6.78-inch 1.5K LIPO ultra-narrow straight screen. This screen, jointly developed by OnePlus and BOE, features an ultra-narrow equilateral straight design with a bezel width of just 1.15mm and supports an ultra-high refresh rate of 165Hz.
In terms of color, the OnePlus 15 is available in three colors: Original Sand Dune, Absolute Black, and Mist Purple. The new phone's original Sand Dune color scheme debuts with aerospace-grade nano-ceramic metal, which is 134% harder than titanium, 223% harder than stainless steel, and 344% harder than ordinary anodized aluminum alloy.
Leaked information indicates that the OnePlus 15 is expected to feature a triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. The device is expected to weigh between 211g and 215g and is expected to offer features such as an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, NFC, and infrared remote control. Furthermore, the new phone will be equipped with OPPO's proprietary LUMO imaging technology.
