Samsung S2600 chip performance exposure: GPU improved by 75% over Apple A19 Pro

On October 20th, according to the latest reports from Korean media, Samsung's Exynos 2600 chipset achieved significant breakthroughs in multiple performance metrics.

Based on test data released between September and October 2025, the Exynos 2600 boasts over 6x NPU performance improvement, 14% higher multi-core CPU performance, and a 75% jump in GPU performance compared to the Apple A19 Pro chipset. Compared to Qualcomm's latest fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition, the Exynos 2600 leads in NPU performance by approximately 30% and GPU performance by up to 29%, demonstrating strong technical competitiveness.

For reference, the Apple A19 Pro achieved single-core scores ranging from 3864 to 4019 in Geekbench 6, maintaining its traditional advantage in single-threaded tasks, particularly in app launch and system smoothness. The fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition achieved single-core scores of 3836 to 3839, which, while slightly lower than the A19 Pro, also set a new high for Android. In terms of multi-core performance, the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition surpassed the A19 Pro with scores ranging from 12,338 to 12,481. The A19 Pro's multi-core scores fluctuated between 9,962 and 11,054. Some test results may be affected by device cooling and system tuning. The Exynos 2600, with its 10-core CPU architecture and advanced process, demonstrates greater potential in multitasking, game rendering, and AI computing scenarios, particularly in terms of GPU and NPU power efficiency.
