The world record for memory overclocking has been broken again, with overclockers now exceeding 13,000 MT/s, a feat previously considered nearly impossible. This record was achieved using Corsair Vengeance DDR5 memory modules and a Gigabyte Z890 Aorus Tachyon ICE motherboard.
The achievement was achieved by German overclocker Sergmann, who overclocked the memory to 6504.9 MHz and took first place in the HWBot world rankings. This result has been officially confirmed via CPU-Z.
To achieve this speed, Sergmann used 24GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5 modules, an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor, and liquid nitrogen cooling.
Interestingly, just a month ago, another enthusiast nicknamed "saltycroissant" set a record of 12,920 MT/s, but ultimately failed. Reaching a speed of 13,000 MT/s is already difficult, but breaking 14,000 MT/s is even more challenging.
