
Colorful has released its first motherboard based on the flagship AMD X870E chipset. Called the CVN X870E Ark Frozen, this new product is designed for gaming enthusiasts and those building high-performance gaming or work PCs.
The motherboard features a 19-phase power supply subsystem with a 16+2+1 design and 80A Dr.MOS, easily accommodating up to 16-core Ryzen 9000 series processors.
The VRM is cooled by a large aluminum heatsink. The Colorful CVN X870E Ark Frozen features one PCIe 5.0 x16 slot for a graphics card, one PCIe 4.0 x4 slot for expansion cards, one high-speed M.2 PCIe 5.0 x4 slot for high-end SSDs, and two M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 slots for lower-speed drives.
The motherboard supports four DDR5 memory modules with overclocked speeds up to 8200 MT/s and features CVN Aries Frost Guard heatsinks for efficient SSD cooling. It also comes with modern connectivity options, including a 20 Gbps USB-C port, multiple USB 3.2 and USB 2.0 ports, HDMI 2.0, 5 GbE LAN, and Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 wireless modules.
