Along with the new smartphone, OPPO unveiled another signature product: the Watch S smartwatch with advanced water resistance. This model is one of the thinnest in its class, without sacrificing battery life or features.
The OPPO Watch S case, just 8.9 mm thick and weighing 35 grams, is made of stainless steel. It is IP68 and 5ATM certified, making it submersible and suitable for swimming workouts.
The new watch features a 1.46-inch round AMOLED display (464x464 pixels, 60 Hz, and a peak brightness of 3000 cd/m²). A 330 mAh battery provides battery life: according to the manufacturer, the watch will last up to 10 days on a single charge. A full charge takes 90 minutes.
The OPPO Watch S is equipped with a 16-channel blood oxygen sensor, an 8-channel heart rate sensor, ECG electrodes (Class II medical certification in China), and a thermometer for measuring skin temperature. The watch can monitor vascular health, sleep quality (including snoring and breathing rhythm), and stress levels.
A proprietary AI algorithm tracks your fitness progress. A virtual coach creates an optimal training plan based on data collected over the past week. More than 100 training modes are supported.
The new watch's list of features includes eSIM, GPS (with the ability to download offline maps), and NFC, as well as the ability to simultaneously pair with Android and iOS smartphones.
The OPPO Watch S smartwatch, available in black, green, and silver, is now available in China for 1,299 yuan (approximately $210).
