Honor has released the tenth version of its MagicOS operating system. Based on Android 16, the system features a refreshed user interface and practical everyday smart features. Honor has also expanded its cross-platform connectivity.
MagicOS 10 introduces YOYO, Honor's proprietary AI assistant based on Magic Big Model 3.0. According to Honor, YOYO can adapt to user behavior, operate in 3,000 scenarios, and support over 4,000 smart systems.
For example, YOYO can serve as a shopping companion, helping users find discounts and use coupons. It can also be used to plan and organize trips, track health and fitness, and manage work tasks. YOYO has received L3 Excellence certification from the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology for its generalization and multimodal understanding capabilities.
In MagicOS 10, developers have implemented a simpler and more intuitive user interface with smoother animations and updated logic. The AI button allows you to launch YOYO Vision, manage calls, and control smart apps with a simple long press.
The new Unlimited Smart Connection technology supports interoperability between devices from different brands. Users can transfer photos, files, contacts, and other data between Honor devices, iPhones, and Macs. This technology also supports smart TVs, PCs, and tablets from other brands.
MagicOS 10 will be released in phases.
