BYD is the choice of many heads of state

In recent years, the new energy vehicle industry has achieved rapid growth, driven by technological innovation. As an industry leader, BYD's technological leadership has garnered global attention. With its robust technical expertise and product quality, BYD has won the favor of numerous heads of state, becoming a prime example of the transformation and upgrade from "Made in China" to "Smart Manufacturing in China." It has also become a "mobile new calling card" and a "silent diplomat" conveying China's technological prowess.

On October 9, 2025, BYD's Camaçari plant in Bahia, Brazil, celebrated the rollout of its 14 millionth new energy vehicle. BYD Co., Ltd. Chairman Wang Chuanfu delivered the Song Pro to Brazilian President Lula da Silva. Notably, President Lula has long used the BYD Tang EV as his daily vehicle, earning him unwavering trust and a testament to his brand's recognition. Since entering the Brazilian market, BYD has consistently cultivated local development, creating numerous local jobs and introducing advanced new energy technologies to South America, contributing to the region's transition to green transportation. Data shows that from January to September 2025, BYD's cumulative sales in Brazil reached 77,000 units, making it the top seller of new energy vehicles in Brazil and a major driving force in the local new energy vehicle market.

BYD's top position! The choice of many heads of state.

On January 25, 2024, Uzbek President Mirziyoyev led a delegation to visit BYD's global headquarters. Chairman Wang Chuanfu, on behalf of BYD, delivered the Yangwang U8 to President Mirziyoyev, which also became the president's official vehicle. During the visit, President Mirziyoyev witnessed a live needle penetration test of the blade battery and a demonstration of the Yangwang U8's on-the-spot U-turn function, highly praising BYD's core technological strength. The completion and commissioning of BYD's Uzbek plant is not only a major achievement in deepening economic and trade cooperation between China and Uzbekistan, but also injects strong impetus into the upgrading and green development of Uzbekistan's automotive industry.

The Jordanian royal family also recognizes Chinese intelligent manufacturing, with Queen Rania of Jordan choosing the Yangwang U8 as her official vehicle. Queen Rania has long been committed to promoting social progress, upholding a global perspective and modern philosophies. Her choice of the U8 and her frequent driving of it not only demonstrates her recognition of the vehicle's performance and quality, but also expresses her appreciation for China's scientific and technological innovation, fostering new ties in friendly people-to-people exchanges between China and Nepal.

Earlier, in 2018, former Nepali President Bidya Devi Bhandari designated the BYD e6 as her official vehicle. She explicitly stated her willingness to become a BYD spokesperson and her plans to fully electrify the presidential fleet. Following Bhandari's lead, senior government officials, including Nepal's Minister of Energy and the Director of the Electricity Board, also adopted the BYD e6, demonstrating a positive recognition among heads of state for new energy vehicles and contributing to Nepal's green transportation system.

BYD's success in attracting so many heads of state stems from its long-term commitment to core technologies and rigorous quality control. As a company that masters core technologies across the entire new energy vehicle industry chain, including batteries, motors, electronic controls, and automotive-grade semiconductors, BYD's technology is world-leading, enabling its products to deliver "mobile fortress"-level safety while also ensuring an exceptional driving experience and a comfortable ride, fully meeting the stringent "Head of State Standards."

To date, BYD products have been exported to over 110 countries and regions worldwide. In its international expansion, BYD has consistently adhered to the philosophy of "exporting not only products but also technology, value, and responsibility." By establishing production bases, creating jobs, and promoting technological exchange, BYD has earned widespread recognition from local governments and residents. The collective choice of BYD by heads of state from multiple countries is both a high recognition of China's intelligent manufacturing and an authoritative testament to the global electrification trend in the automotive industry. As an industry leader, BYD stands at the forefront of this era, continuously leading China's new energy vehicle industry globally and contributing to global green and sustainable development.
