Technology media outlet BGR reported yesterday (October 14) that Google plans to release its next-generation AI model, Gemini 3.0, on October 22nd. This move is seen as a strong response to OpenAI's GPT-5 and Anthropic Claude Sonnet 4.5.
According to screenshots of Google's internal planning leaked on social media, the new model began internal testing as early as August of this year. Its core improvements focus on latency optimization, cost control, and improved encoding capabilities. In particular, it achieves a significant leap forward in SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) generation, with user comparison charts showing its detail and accuracy far exceeding existing models.
Amidst fierce competition in the AI field, the release of Gemini 3.0 has attracted much attention. In addition to basic performance upgrades, the new model will also expand the capabilities of the intelligent agent, enabling it to handle complex tasks autonomously, not just in conversational scenarios. Furthermore, media speculate that Google may simultaneously release the video generation tool Veo 3.1 and the lightweight model Nano Banana, further enriching its AI ecosystem.
