A well-known industry insider going by the handle "Digital Chat Station" has shared details online about Xiaomi's flagship phone, the Mi 17 Ultra. The source revealed the smartphone's camera specifications, with two versions expected.
Both models will feature the same quad-sensor configuration: 50MP, 50MP, 50MP, and 250MP. The main camera will likely use an OmniVision OV50X module, while the ultra-wide-angle, telephoto, and periscope cameras will utilize Samsung sensors.
According to the source, the difference between the two versions will be the inclusion of "innovative" AI features in the camera: one smartphone will have these features, while the other will not. The camera setup and configuration are expected to be identical.
The new product is expected to launch in 2026.
