Another new product at vivo's recent presentation was the Watch GT 2 smartwatch. The gadget's distinguishing features include a bright display, native support for iOS smartphones, and impressive battery life in the non-cellular version.
The new model features a 2.07-inch rectangular AMOLED display with a resolution of 514x432 pixels, a 60 Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 2400 cd/m². The right edge of the aluminum case houses a crown for menu navigation in addition to the touchscreen. Thanks to a built-in speaker and microphone, the watch can be used as a headset for calls.
The smartwatch is available in two models. The base model features only Wi-Fi and a 695 mAh battery. According to the manufacturer, the device will last up to 33 days in power saving mode, up to 17 days with moderate use, and up to two weeks with AoD enabled.
The version with eSIM and a 595 mAh battery has a shorter battery life. According to the specifications, a single charge will provide up to 18 days of "normal" use and up to 8 days when using mobile data.
A useful feature of the new product is its integration with the Apple ecosystem. However, only the domestic version is currently available; to receive notifications from an iPhone, the user must have a Chinese Apple ID account.
The Vivo Watch GT 2 can simultaneously sync with both iPhone and Vivo smartphones.
The list of features of the Vivo Watch GT 2 includes the ability to track the progress of various workouts, sleep quality, and basic health indicators (heart rate and blood oxygen levels).
Vivo Watch GT 2 will go on sale in China on October 17th, priced at $70 and $98 for the Wi-Fi and eSIM models, respectively.
