In addition to Gemini, Google has deployed its Nano Banana neural network image editing model in several other services. According to the company, the AI has been applied to its proprietary search engine, NotebookLM, and will soon debut in Google Photos.
Nano Banana will support image searches within the search engine and, like Gemini, will be able to transform photos based on text queries. To this end, a new mode has been added to the Android and iOS apps, accessible through the "Create" button.
NotebookLM is an AI assistant that makes it easier to analyze and organize information. It features a video overview feature that creates explanatory videos with voiceovers based on uploaded data. According to the company, Nano Banana will make these videos more diverse.
Google has not yet revealed what Nano Banana will enable in Photos, but has announced that the feature will be available in the near future.
