Apple iPhone 17 series activation data revealed: Pro models take the top two spots in sales, while the standard version performs steadily

Apple's iPhone 17 series has accumulated 2.695 million activations across the entire lineup, with the Pro series performing particularly well, taking the top two spots in sales. Specifically, the iPhone 17 Pro Max topped the list with 1.077 million activations, followed by the iPhone 17 Pro with 970,600 units. The standard iPhone 17 contributed 648,000 units. This data suggests that despite the Pro series' high starting price of 8,999 yuan, consumers still prefer high-end models.

The iPhone 17 series was officially released on September 10th and went on sale on September 19th, continuing Apple's consistent pricing strategy. The standard version starts at 5,999 yuan, the Pro version at 8,999 yuan, and the top-of-the-line Pro Max at 9,999 yuan. In terms of configuration differences, the standard version brings ProMotion adaptive refresh rate (1-120Hz) to a 6.3-inch screen for the first time and is equipped with a 3nm A19 chip, significantly improving graphics performance. In terms of imaging, its 48-megapixel main camera and ultra-wide-angle dual-camera combination, while not as radical as the Pro version, still meets the needs of most users.

The Pro series' impressive sales are closely tied to its innovative design. As the first unibody iPhone, the Pro series returns to aluminum alloy and employs a full-width camera platform, which not only optimizes heat dissipation but also accommodates a larger battery. The imaging system has been comprehensively upgraded, with an 18-megapixel Center Stage front camera and three rear cameras, each upgraded to 48 megapixels. This integrated technology further enhances image quality. These differentiated selling points have clearly successfully attracted users seeking the ultimate experience.

Notably, the Pro series accounts for a whopping 76% of activations, reflecting Apple's continued recognition in the high-end market. While the standard version has seen slightly lower sales, it maintains a strong presence in the mainstream market thanks to its more affordable price and balanced features.
