Red Magic has released new details about its upcoming 11 Pro gaming flagship phone, slated for release on October 17th. This will be the industry's first smartphone to combine active air cooling and liquid cooling technology. Red Magic also revealed the phone's design.
The released images show a transparent casing with a visible water ring inside, where the coolant circulates. Red Magic claims the new Wind 4.0 cooling system, featuring a fan that spins up to 24,000 rpm and a "waterfall" air duct, ensures reliable operation even under extreme loads. Furthermore, the casing is IPX8 rated, meaning the smartphone should be submersible—a surprising feat considering its active cooling system and openings.
The device will be available in four colors, including two transparent versions: Deuterium Silver and Deuterium Dark Night. The back will be completely flat, with no protruding camera, and the front panel will be hidden beneath the display, devoid of a notch.
According to industry insiders, the Red Magic 11 Pro will be equipped with a flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, equipped with an approximately 8,000 mAh battery (supporting fast charging) and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. In addition, it is expected to be equipped with a dedicated chip to improve game responsiveness.
