
Ford unveiled an electric version of its iconic Bronco SUV. The electric vehicle debuted at the Guangzhou Auto Show and is currently sold only in China. The Bronco EV features two electric motors, one on the front and one on the rear axle.
The electric SUV measures 5025 x 1960 x 1815 mm (5025 x 1960 x 1815 mm). Its total output reaches 445 horsepower, or 332 kilowatts. Its 105.4 kWh battery, developed by BYD's FinDreams division, provides a range of up to 650 kilometers.
The electric Bronco is equipped with Ford's Fuyu driver assistance system, which features lidar and over 30 sensors, as well as an off-road logbook with popular travel routes.
The manufacturer has installed a built-in kitchen in the trunk, complete with a table, knife block, and even a bottle opener. The company is also developing a rooftop camping package, which includes a retractable roof, an air mattress, and folding seats.
The electric Ford Bronco is expected to launch in late 2025.
