According to reports from foreign media outlet SmartPrix on October 9th, OPPO is preparing the Reno15 series of smartphones. The flagship model, which will be the first to bear the "Pro Max" name suffix, will be the flagship. This naming change highlights OPPO's strengthened market positioning for its ultra-large-capacity models. The new model is expected to focus on high-end imaging and long battery life.
According to leaked information, the OPPO Reno15 Pro Max's imaging system is its biggest highlight. The phone will feature a rear triple-camera setup, with the main camera upgraded to a 200-megapixel Samsung HP5 sensor, paired with a 50-megapixel telephoto lens and an ultra-wide-angle lens for full-scene coverage. The front camera will also be 50 megapixels, meeting the needs of high-definition selfies and video calls. Furthermore, the new phone will feature a large-capacity battery of approximately 6500mAh, support under-screen fingerprint recognition, Wi-Fi 7, and NFC, and offer comprehensive upgrades in battery life and connectivity.
In terms of its release strategy, OPPO plans a phased rollout, initially launching in China at the end of 2025, followed by expansion into India and global markets in early 2026. This pace is consistent with the high acceptance of new technologies by domestic users and also leaves enough time for overseas markets to warm up. If the news is true, the OPPO Reno15 Pro Max will become another masterpiece of OPPO to impact the high-end market.
