Realme Vice President, President of Global Marketing, and President of China, Xu Qi, announced that Realme and Ricoh Imaging have officially entered into a strategic imaging partnership. Ricoh Imaging, a renowned photography brand known for its GR series cameras featuring a humanistic street style and film-like texture, is poised to bring new possibilities to mobile photography. On October 14th, Realme and Ricoh Imaging will jointly hold a press conference to announce their strategic imaging partnership.
According to previous leaks from digital bloggers, the Realme GT8 Pro will feature a 200-megapixel Samsung HP5 periscope telephoto lens with 120x hybrid zoom. It will also feature a 50-megapixel main camera and a 50-megapixel wide-angle lens, using sensors like the Sony IMX989 and Samsung JN5, respectively. Analysts suggest that the Realme-Ricoh Imaging collaboration may introduce a Ricoh negative film color style, simulating the color characteristics of classic Ricoh film to provide users with a unique shooting experience. This color style not only retains the texture and layering of film but also incorporates the convenience of modern digital technology.
According to official sources, the realme GT8 series' lens module will also feature an innovative design. When disassembled, the new lens module appears irregularly rectangular, but when assembled, it transforms into a circle or even a rounded rectangle. Officials claim this design not only pursues visual uniqueness but also prioritizes user engagement and playability.
According to CNMO, the realme GT8 Pro will be powered by the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition mobile platform, featuring a 2K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and a full-screen display with a peak brightness of 2000 nits. It will also debut 4000 nit sunlight display technology.
