Xiaomi, OV's sub-brand Kaijuan's sub-flagship model revealed: 2K screen + 7K battery + ultrasonic

Well-known digital blogger "Digital Chat Station" has released the latest leaks, revealing that the sub-flagship product lines of several mobile phone manufacturers' sub-brands (REDMI, OnePlus, and iQOO) will undergo comprehensive upgrades, further enhancing their competitiveness.

According to reports, these sub-flagship models will feature different screen configurations. Some will adopt mid-sized screen designs, balancing grip and display quality; others will feature 165Hz ultra-high refresh rate screens; and some will feature large, flat-panel displays with 2K resolution.

In terms of imaging capabilities, sub-flagship models are no longer limited to basic photography. Many new models will be equipped with telephoto lenses, some even featuring periscope-style telephoto modules, significantly improving telephoto capabilities and narrowing the gap with flagship models. This upgrade means users in the mid-to-high-end price range can enjoy a more complete imaging experience.

Battery life is a key focus of this upgrade. Reports indicate that battery capacities for new phones in this price range will generally reach the 7000mAh era, with a maximum of around 7800mAh, effectively extending battery life and meeting the needs of heavy users.

In terms of body craftsmanship and interactive security, a metal mid-frame and ultrasonic under-screen fingerprint recognition technology will become standard across the entire series of select models. The metal mid-frame not only enhances the overall feel of the device but also aids in heat dissipation and structural strength. The ultrasonic fingerprint sensor provides a faster and more secure unlocking experience, especially with wet hands or in bright sunlight.

It is reported that the next generation of sub-flagship models under the sub-brand will generally be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite mobile platform.
