Xiaomi Mi 17 Ultra rumored to be equipped with dual 200-megapixel sensors and is expected to be released by the end of the year

A digital blogger has revealed that a new phone will be equipped with Samsung's latest 200-megapixel sensors, the HP5 and HPE. Some netizens speculate that this new phone is the Xiaomi Mi 17 Ultra, expected to be released at the end of the year.

According to the leaked information, the Samsung HP5 sensor on the Xiaomi Mi 17 Ultra is 1/1.56 inches, while the HPE is 1/1.4 inches. The blogger also claims that these two 200-megapixel sensors will be widely used, leading to widespread adoption of 200-megapixel sensors.

Combined with previous leaks, the most notable breakthrough of the Xiaomi Mi 17 Ultra lies in its imaging system. According to multiple sources, the phone will feature a new quad-camera solution, featuring full focal length coverage and high-pixel fusion technology. The main camera will be a large-sensor 1-inch sensor from China's OmniVision (OV), possibly the OVX10500U.

CNMO has learned that the Xiaomi Mi 17 Ultra will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5 mobile platform, a 3nm chip that will provide cutting-edge computational photography capabilities. In terms of battery life, the phone boasts a large 6800mAh battery, expected to support 100W wired charging and 80W wireless charging. The Mi 17 Ultra features a 6.85-inch 2K flagship flat-panel display with an ultra-narrow equilateral design and LTPO adaptive refresh rate support.

Reports indicate the Mi 17 Ultra is expected to be released by the end of this year, with a starting price of 6,999 yuan (for the 16GB+512GB version), and the top-of-the-line 1TB model potentially reaching 7,999 yuan.
