Previous reports have suggested that Apple will hold an event in October to officially update its Mac and iPad product lines. In addition to the Pro models, a new iPad mini is also expected to debut this October.
According to foreign media reports, the new iPad mini will be equipped with the A19 Pro chip, previously found in the iPhone Air and iPhone 17 Pro. The iPad mini may also use the same A19 Pro chip as the iPhone Air. This chip will feature two high-performance cores, four efficiency cores, and a 5-core GPU. It will also feature an upgraded 16-core neural engine, further enhancing AI capabilities.
Regarding the display, reports suggest the new iPad mini may feature an OLED screen. If this is the case, the iPad mini 8's screen size could increase from 8.3 inches to 8.7 inches.
Regarding the price, reports indicate the new iPad mini will maintain its original price and will not increase or decrease. Considering that domestic subsidies are still in place, the new product's price is expected to be even more competitive.
