Previous official news indicated that pre-orders for the Realme GT8 series were now open, with a release date in October. Prior to the product launch, a blogger reported that the Realme GT8 Pro boasted significantly improved imaging performance.
According to the blogger, while it features a conventional 50MP 1/1.5mm sensor, several upgrades have made it the best in its class, even surpassing the hardware of competing Ultra models. Having taken it out for a test drive during National Day, the experience and playability were truly astonishing, arguably the best main camera experience Realme has ever offered. This upgrade boasts a main camera, telephoto lens, ultra-wide-angle lens, and a full front-facing lens, all enhanced with the industry-leading Snapdragon 8E5, 2K flat-panel display, and 200MP telephoto lens. Realme has truly nailed the product definition, design, and imaging.
According to leaks, the new Realme GT8 series will be equipped with a 200MP Samsung HP5 periscope telephoto lens, supporting 120x hybrid zoom. It will also feature a 50-megapixel main camera and a 50-megapixel wide-angle lens, using the Sony IMX989 and Samsung JN5 sensors, respectively. Furthermore, the new phone's lens module boasts the boldest, most novel, and most interesting design yet from Realme.
Given that this phone will be officially released in October of this year, we'll likely get more details about it then.
