sber has publicly released its ai model "kandinsky video lite" for video generation and its ai model "giga-embeddings" for creating vector representations of text. both models are available under an open license and can be freely used in commercial projects of any scale.
the kandinsky video lite neural network (with 2 billion parameters) can generate videos of up to 10 seconds based on text queries. according to the developers, this ai model was specifically trained to understand russian-specific objects. the company has also released a lightweight version of this neural network, "kandinsky video lite flash", which is six times faster.
giga-embeddings is designed for creating enterprise ai assistants, chatbots, document search tools, and data analysis tools.
both ai models can be downloaded for free from the open-source platforms hugging face, gitverse, and github.
