the company announced the release of lpcamm2 notebook pc memory modules with an effective frequency of up to 8533 mt/s. these proprietary modules offer high-speed performance for notebook pcs while maintaining a compact size.

according to the company, lpcamm2 modules equipped with lpddr5x chips reduce the space occupied inside notebook pcs by 64% compared to conventional so-dimm modules and improve energy efficiency by 58%.

crucial is currently producing new modules with a maximum capacity of 64gb. these modules are typically installed only in pre-installed notebook pcs. according to company officials, the company plans to release even faster solutions (up to 9600 mt/s) in 2026.
