Samsung launches the world's first 115-inch Micro RGB TV, priced at about 230,000 yuan

Recently, Samsung announced the launch of the world's first TV with Micro RGB technology. This TV is equipped with a huge 115-inch screen and uses micron-level RGB LED backlight to drive its 4K 144Hz LCD panel, providing finer backlight control and better overall viewing experience compared to Samsung's existing Mini-LED-based Neo QLED TV.

This innovative product has been launched in South Korea and is priced at 44.9 million won (about US$32,325/about RMB 230,000). Samsung plans to launch this TV in the US soon after, and will gradually enter other markets.

Micro RGB TVs use proprietary Micro RGB technology to achieve extremely high backlight accuracy control by placing LEDs less than 100 microns under the LCD layer. The display panel is controlled by Samsung's Micro RGB AI engine, which uses AI to optimize real-time color based on video content. In addition, the TV screen also has an anti-glare coating that reduces reflection and reflection and improves viewing comfort.

In terms of hardware, Samsung Micro RGB TVs are equipped with a powerful Micro RGB AI chip, which has a neural processing unit (NPU) with 2 times performance than the previous generation of products, with a CPU speed of 15%, and a graphics processor (GPU) speed of up to 2.1 times. The chip has built-in AI motion enhancer Pro, which can effectively reduce image distortion; at the same time, Micro RGB color enhancer Pro can reproduce rich colors based on scene recognition; and uses Micro RGB HDR+ engine for HDR processing, supporting HDR10+ Adaptive and HDR10+ Gaming certification standards.
