OPPO Find X9 matches iPhone with 4K 120fps recording support

OPPO Find series product manager Zhou Yibao announced in a post that the OPPO Find X9 series is the first Android phone to achieve 4K 120fps Dolby Vision HDR video shooting capabilities and is also the first Android phone to receive ACES certification for 4K 120fps 10-bit Log recording. Zhou also stated that starting with the Find X9 series, Android has officially matched the iPhone in terms of basic video experience.

Zhou stated that the core value of video lies in capturing "unrepeatable and precious moments," and therefore "stability" is more important than "stunning." In the past, Android video was most criticized by users for issues such as jumpy zooming and color discontinuity. However, the iPhone, with its proprietary chips, operating system, and deeply customized hardware, has established an insurmountable experience barrier.

To address this core pain point, Zhou declared that the OPPO Find X9 series has chosen a new technological path. By deeply integrating hardware and algorithms, it has achieved four "industry-first" breakthroughs, resolving Android video issues.

Hardware: The OPPO Find X9 series features a first-of-its-kind multi-camera layout specifically tailored for video, optimizing the physical positioning of the lenses for smoother and more natural perspective switching. Algorithm: The Find X9 series is the first to achieve real-time multi-camera interoperability, writing color, focus, exposure, and other parameters to each sensor in real time for truly seamless transitions. Experience: The new phone features a first-of-its-kind customized cinematic zoom curve, combining hardware and algorithms to ensure smooth zooming and a sense of cinematic storytelling. Performance: The series surpasses the iPhone in video power consumption for the first time. Through customized performance scheduling, it ensures instantaneous bursts of computing power while achieving superior energy efficiency.

Zhou Yibao also stated that in addition to its powerful specifications and stable basic experience, the Find X9 series extends OPPO's acclaimed "beautiful photos" advantage from photos to videos. This allows the series to not only produce excellent photos but also capture exciting vlogs.
