Two sub-brand flagship phones leaked, suspected to be OnePlus and Redmi, with standard 7K batteries

On September 24th, Digital Chat Station revealed the battery configurations of two flagship phones from sub-brands. The new phones are suspected to be from OnePlus and Redmi, respectively. Both models will be powered by Qualcomm's latest flagship mobile platform, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, and feature different battery designs.

According to leaks, one model uses a "7300mAh ± dual-cell" solution, supporting 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. This design ensures high capacity while offering a fast charging experience. The 120W wired charging, in particular, allows for rapid recharging, making it suitable for high-intensity use. While the dual-cell design generally improves charging efficiency and battery lifespan, it may place greater demands on internal space layout.

The other model uses a "7500mAh ± single-cell" solution, equipped with 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. This solution focuses on higher capacity, with a single-cell design offering advantages in energy density and space efficiency, enabling a thinner and lighter phone or allowing for more space for other components. While the wired charging power is slightly lower, 100W is still industry-leading, and combined with the ultra-large 7500mAh capacity, it promises extended battery life.

Currently, flagship Android phones are generally trending towards "large batteries + fast charging." Both of the solutions revealed this time exceed the 7000mAh threshold, far exceeding the approximately 5000-6000mAh battery capacity of current mainstream flagship phones.
