Over 1 billion RMB invested! Xiaomi 17 Pro secondary screen specifications exposed: 8T LTPO 120Hz

Recently, a digital blogger revealed that the Xiaomi 17 Pro's secondary screen will be made of 8T LTPO material and support a 120Hz refresh rate.

According to CNMO, the 8T LTPO screen offers many significant advantages. It increases the maximum pixel refresh rate to 360Hz, meaning it can maintain a 360Hz pixel refresh rate regardless of the refresh rate. Furthermore, the higher pixel refresh rate ensures smoother transitions between front and back frames on the 8T LTPO screen. When the screen is at a 1Hz refresh rate, the moment the user touches the screen, the refresh rate jumps directly to 120Hz, eliminating the need for intermediate refresh rate transitions, significantly improving the user's perceived smoothness.

One billion! Xiaomi 17 Pro secondary screen specifications revealed: 8T LTPO 120Hz

In addition to revealing the secondary screen specifications, Xiaomi also officially revealed information about the Xiaomi 17 series' rear screens. Official information indicates that both the Xiaomi 17 Pro and Pro Max will feature the "Magic Enjoy Back Screen." Previously, Xiaomi Apps Director Wang Le stated that over 1 billion yuan was invested in the 17 Pro's rear screen, and revealed that the rear screen will definitely not be removed from the next generation of phones.

Xiaomi Group Partner and President Lu Weibing once compared the rear screens of the Xiaomi 11 Ultra and the Xiaomi 17 Pro to the difference between a car's dashboard and its intelligent hub platform. He said that the 17 Pro's rear screen not only allows for rear-facing selfies but also filters out important information and presents it to the user when the phone is turned upside down, offering a more novel and practical experience.

According to official sources, the Xiaomi 17 series will be released at 7 PM on September 25th.
