On September 22nd, OPPO officially announced that the OPPO Developer Conference will be held on October 15th, marking the launch of ColorOS 16. Themed "Smooth Nature, Brilliant AI," the conference will showcase OPPO's continuously evolving integrated software, hardware, and services platform capabilities and cutting-edge ecosystem achievements for users, developers, and partners.

The conference will cover OPPO's AI strategic layout, the all-new ColorOS 16 intelligent experience, the intelligent connected ecosystem, and gaming technology and ecosystem, comprehensively sharing OPPO's latest developments across all areas of software, hardware, and services. In addition to the main forum, the conference will also feature an AI Technology and Ecosystem Summit, as well as 10 sub-forums focusing on AI mobile experience design, application content, smart services, and AI security and privacy. Numerous OPPO technical executives and industry leaders will attend the conference to share important information.

The newly released ColorOS 16 introduces a brand-new smooth technology architecture, further enhancing the "Dove"-like smooth experience across all scenarios and all device models. In terms of AI, Xiaobu Memory's memory capabilities have been significantly improved, making it a generational leader. The extremely practical one-click flash memory function and more system AI applications have also been completely revamped, making them highly anticipated. The official version of ColorOS 16 will debut in China at the 2025 OPPO Developer Conference on October 15th, and product adaptation plans will be announced soon.

In ColorOS 15, OPPO leverages its proprietary "Aurora Engine" and "Tidal Engine" to deliver exceptionally smooth user experience. Aurora Engine is China's first parallel rendering framework, enabling parallel rendering of multiple animations. The system can start drawing two windows simultaneously before the previous animation has finished, maximizing user experience.

Tidal Engine utilizes two proprietary technologies: intelligent dynamic caching and a full-stack algorithm accelerator to ensure chip resource availability. This technology penetrates deep into the chip's underlying structure, completely reshaping the chip's cache allocation mechanism. This delivers superior performance and power consumption control, even in complex user scenarios. Furthermore, Tidal Engine, through its full-stack algorithm accelerator, provides more efficient parallel computing, refactoring and accelerating common algorithms in the Android software library, achieving up to a 3x improvement in algorithm efficiency.

According to OPPO's official promotional materials, ColorOS 16 will offer a smoother user experience and more practical AI support.

The 2025 OPPO Developer Conference is now open for reservations to developers worldwide. Starting today, you can register by visiting the official "2025 OPPO Developer Conference" website.
