Official Announcement: ColorOS 16 Launch and OPPO Developer Conference Scheduled for October 15th; Liquid Glass Design Draws Attention

Today, OPPO officially announced that the ColorOS 16 launch event and OPPO Developer Conference (ODC 2025) will be held in Hall 20 of the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center on October 15, 2025. As a major annual tech event, the conference will showcase OPPO's latest achievements in AI strategy, operating system innovation, and ecosystem development. The liquid glass design elements featured on the official website have sparked widespread speculation within the industry.

According to the official schedule, the conference will officially kick off at 10:00 AM on October 15. Tang Kai, President of OPPO's Software Engineering Division, will take the stage first, laying out the core directions of OPPO's AI strategy in a 10-minute presentation. Subsequently, Chen Xi, Design Director of ColorOS, will deliver an 80-minute presentation on the ColorOS 16 system, expected to detail the design language, feature innovations, and user experience. Notably, the liquid glass design elements showcased on the official website may hint at breakthrough upgrades in visual interaction within the new system.

The afternoon summit session will feature ten parallel forums covering cutting-edge fields such as AI mobile phone experience design, smart connected ecosystems, and gaming technology. The establishment of the "AI Security and Privacy" sub-forum reflects OPPO's commitment to ethical issues surrounding AI. Six themed exhibition areas and an inspirational street provide developers with an immersive technology experience. Registration for the conference is now open through the ODC official website, with the deadline being 10:00 AM on October 13th.

The conference was held at the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center, the world's largest convention and exhibition complex, and a venue for numerous international technology exhibitions. OPPO's choice of this venue to launch its next-generation operating system not only demonstrates its technological confidence but also suggests that ColorOS 16 may have strategic significance for the global market.
