Apple iPhone 17 series specifications fully exposed: Air version is only 5.5mm thick, Pro Max battery reaches 5000mAh

Recently, tech media outlet WccfTech revealed specifications for the Apple iPhone 17 series. Leaked Apple internal documents from a South Korean telecom operator reveal that the iPhone 17 series will include a standard version, an ultra-thin Air version, and two Pro models. All will be powered by the A19 series chipset and are expected to be officially released at 1:00 AM Beijing time on September 10th. The leaked specifications reveal numerous innovations in Apple's design and performance.

The standard iPhone 17 continues the design language of its predecessor, with key refinements. It features a 6.3-inch OLED display, an A19 chip, 8GB of RAM, and a dual-camera setup on the rear, consisting of a 48-megapixel main sensor and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. The front camera has been upgraded to 24 megapixels, significantly improving video call quality. A built-in 3600mAh battery, combined with optimized chip efficiency, promises longer battery life.

The iPhone 17 Air, a highlight of the series, boasts an extremely thin and lightweight design, measuring just 5.5mm thick and weighing 145 grams. Despite its slim size, the phone boasts a 6.6-inch ProMotion display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Its single 48-megapixel main camera and 24-megapixel front-facing camera are somewhat conservative, but it may be equipped with the more powerful A19 Pro chip. Notably, this device will be the second after the iPhone 16e to utilize Apple's in-house developed C1 modem. Its battery capacity will range from 2800 to 2900mAh, requiring software optimization to address battery life shortcomings.

In the Pro series, the iPhone 17 Pro features a 6.3-inch screen and a 3700mAh battery, while the Pro Max boasts a larger 6.9-inch screen and a whopping 5000mAh battery. Both models are equipped with the A19 Pro chip, a 6-core GPU, 12GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of storage. These specifications demonstrate Apple's differentiated approach to addressing the needs of diverse user groups, from consumers seeking a lightweight design to professionals demanding extreme performance.
