Rumor has it that several new Snapdragon 8E5 flagships will have bezels as narrow as 1.1mm, rivaling the iPhone 17.

A well-known digital blogger revealed details about the upcoming Snapdragon 8E5 flagship, sparking discussion online. The blogger stated that he had touched several of the new Snapdragon 8E5 flagships and discovered their aggressive bezels, featuring four narrow LIPO edges and wider corners, with the narrowest being 1.1mm-1.2mm±, directly comparable to the next-generation Apple 17 series. The sub-series Snapdragon 8E5 also features conventional wide corners with four equal LIPO edges, also with the narrowest being 1.1mm-1.2mm±. Of course, there are also FIAA-style four equal edges, measuring 1.5mm-1.6mm.

It's clear that the designs of various Snapdragon 8E5 flagship phones in the second half of this year are quite radical, utilizing four narrow LIPO edges to achieve a larger screen-to-body ratio, further enhancing their appearance from the front. In the comments section, a netizen asked if the OPPO Find X9 series could achieve a 1.1mm thickness. The blogger responded, stating that it's in the 1.1-1.2±mm range. Judging from OPPO's official promotional information, there hasn't been any specific hype surrounding narrow bezels. However, Zhou Yibao, head of the OPPO Find series, mentioned, "The entire OPPO Find X9 series features the highly anticipated straight screen, wide bezels, and ultra-narrow physical edges. Both the feel and the narrow bezels are a significant upgrade." Regarding battery capacity, the OPPO Find X9 boasts over 6600mAh, while the Pro version boasts over 7400mAh, ensuring a slim and lightweight design while delivering excellent battery life.

Vivo also teased the screen bezels today. The vivo X300 series boasts the narrowest bezels in vivo history, utilizing LIPO technology to significantly reduce the bezels. Han Boxiao kept the specific measurements a secret until later. However, according to a leak from Digital Chat Station, the bezels are likely to be between 1.1-1.2mm. The ultra-narrow bezels and sleek, wide bezels create a visually immersive experience and are incredibly comfortable to hold. If you are the wait-and-see party, the large number of flagship new products on the market in the second half of the year will be dazzling, but many of them are directly aimed at Apple and are full of fruity flavor. You might as well wait and see.
