Premiere, a new video editing option, will be available on iPhone and iPad this month

Video editors are likely familiar with Adobe's Premiere. Adobe recently announced that it will release a new version of Premiere for iPhone and iPad later this month. The app is reportedly slated for release on September 30th and will be available for pre-order on the App Store. While it's free to download, users will likely need to pay to access all features.

Adobe officially states that the new Premiere app will be more similar to Premiere Pro on Mac and PC, supporting "professional-quality video editing." Key features include a multi-track timeline, unlimited video, audio, and text layers, automatic addition of stylized titles, 4K HDR, and the ability to generate sound effects and other assets using Adobe's Firefly AI toolkit.

Additionally, the mobile version of Premiere will include additional new features, including the ability to export directly to TikTok, YouTube, or Instagram, or send projects to Premiere Pro on a computer.

Currently, there are lightweight editing applications on mobile phones, including Jianying and Bijian, as well as editing tools such as Final Cut Pro and LumaFusion. It is worth looking forward to whether the new Premiere application can become a new choice for more users.
