At the White House AI Education Task Force meeting on the 4th, Microsoft announced its full support for the US Executive Order on AI in Education, launching several initiatives to empower the education sector. Microsoft President Brad Smith outlined three core principles: providing AI tools in the classroom, improving AI skills for all, and promoting skills transfer to create economic opportunity.

Regarding specific measures, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella announced that all US college students will receive a free one-year subscription to Microsoft 365 Personal, including access to Office applications and the Copilot AI assistant, with a 50% discount on renewals. Additionally, Microsoft will invest $1.25 million (approximately 8.925 million RMB) in educator grants and offer free LinkedIn AI courses to teachers and students nationwide, further expanding the adoption of AI tools in schools.

For job seekers, Microsoft also launched over 100 new AI courses and 15 learning paths, aiming to directly connect technical training with job demands.
