Microsoft's Copilot AI assistant is coming to Samsung's 2025 TVs and monitors, offering everything from streaming services to chat and watching TV shows.

On August 28th, Microsoft's Copilot AI assistant officially arrived on televisions, with Samsung's full lineup of TVs and smart displays launching in 2025 being the first to feature the feature. Users can activate Copilot to receive movie recommendations, spoiler-free TV series recaps, and answers to everyday questions.

Microsoft's Copilot AI assistant is now available on Samsung's 2025 TVs and displays, offering everything from show search and chat.

On TV screens, Copilot will appear as a "friendly animated character"—a design inspired by the creamy white Copilot visuals Microsoft unveiled last month, but with a color scheme that makes it more anthropomorphic like a chickpea. The beige, circular character will float and bounce on the screen, its mouth animating in sync with its responses.

Copilot will reportedly be pre-installed on supported Samsung TVs. Users can find it on the Samsung Tizen home screen, in Samsung Daily Plus (an upgraded version of Samsung's daily curated content), and in the "Tap to Search" feature. It can be activated in two ways: by voice command or by selecting it directly with the remote control. Once you've found Copilot, press the microphone button on the remote to start a conversation. Microsoft says that logging in to your account will allow for a more personalized Copilot experience—the AI assistant can leverage past conversations and preferences to provide more tailored interactions.

Copilot is currently available on Samsung's 2025 TV lineup, including the Micro RGB, Neo QLED, OLED, The Frame Pro, and The Frame series. It also supports the M7, M8, and M9 smart displays. Microsoft previously announced plans to expand Copilot to LG TVs.
