iQOO 15 expected to be released in October: Samsung 2K screen and self-developed gaming chip

A digital blogger has revealed that the Realme GT 8 Pro will feature the same 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens as the OPPO Find X9 series, while the iQOO 15 will feature an ultra-transparent Samsung 2K screen and a self-developed gaming chip. The blogger also stated that both new phones will be released in October.

Combined with previous leaks, the iQOO 15 has received upgrades in both its screen and imaging capabilities. The new phone features a Samsung-customized LIPO straight screen, boasting a 2K resolution and utilizing Polyless technology to reduce light loss. This results in higher brightness, a more transparent display, and improved border control, providing an immersive visual experience. Regarding imaging, the iQOO 15 will be the first to feature a periscope telephoto lens, powered by the Sony IMX882 sensor, significantly improving telephoto capabilities and meeting user needs for multi-scene photography. This upgrade addresses the shortcomings of the iQOO 13 and further underscores its positioning as an "all-round flagship."

The iQOO 15 will be powered by Qualcomm's second-generation Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition mobile platform, boasting a massive 7000mAh battery and support for both wired and wireless fast charging. It also boasts practical features such as ultrasonic fingerprint unlocking, infrared, NFC, and IP68 dust and water resistance. Notably, the iQOO 15 is expected to return to the gaming shoulder button design, providing mobile gamers with an even more advanced control experience.

The iQOO 15 is expected to launch in October. Based on current specifications, with its impressive hardware and distinctive features, it is poised to become a dark horse in this year's flagship market.
