Minisforum has added a new compact workstation to its portfolio: the MS-02 Ultra PC. This new model boasts several significant improvements over its predecessor, including a more powerful Intel processor and compatibility with a wider range of desktop graphics cards.
At the heart of this mini PC is a flagship 24-core Core Ultra 9 285HX processor. It can be equipped with a discrete graphics card, occupying up to two expansion slots, such as a GeForce RTX 5060 Low Profile or RTX 4000 SFF Advanced. The motherboard provides a full PCIe 5.0 x16 slot for this purpose.
In addition, the new model features four DDR5 RAM slots (supporting up to 256GB). Networking includes two SFP28 ports (25Gbps) and one Ethernet port (10Gbps). Additionally, it features USB4 v2 (80Gbps) and Thunderbolt ports, as well as Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 for wireless connectivity.
The Minisforum MS-02 Ultra PC measures 222 x 225 x 97 mm. It's expected to be available in November 2025; pricing has not yet been announced.
