TP-Link's latest product is the Archer GE400 router, aimed at gamers. The device supports the latest Wi-Fi 7 standard and a host of technologies designed to enhance gaming.
The advertised throughput of this new router is up to 6.5 Gbps (5765 Mbps in the 5 GHz band and 688 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band). 4K-QAM and Multi-Link Operation (MLO) technologies are used to increase connection speeds, reduce latency, and improve connection stability under heavy network loads.
A quad-core processor powers the router's performance. Interfaces include two Ethernet ports (2.5 Gbps), three Gigabit ports, and one USB-A port (5 Gbps). Turbo Game Acceleration (traffic prioritization for gaming applications and devices) and Game QoS (latency minimization) are supported.
EasyMesh technology allows you to expand your coverage by connecting additional compatible TP-Link routers, while the HomeShield security suite provides protection against malware and DDoS attacks.
The Archer GE400's aggressively contoured design, inspired by racing cars, features RGB lighting. It is now available in the US for $169.
